SUBMISSION OF PAPERS FOR THEMATIC SESSIONS

Graduate students (Master’s, PhD candidates, and Specialists), professionals from various fields related to tourism, and researchers/professors from related areas may submit Extended Abstracts to participate in the thematic sessions of the II Ecopoltur.

General Guidelines for Extended Abstracts

The presentation of papers at this event is subject to the approval of an Extended Abstract according to the following guidelines:

  1. The submission of only 1 (one) extended abstract per person as the main author will be accepted. In addition to submitting as the main author, the same person may participate as a co-author in only 1 (one) more extended abstract. The maximum number of authors per extended abstract is 3 (three), including the main author. The abstract may be written in Portuguese, Spanish, or English. Abstracts in Portuguese and Spanish must also include their English version.
  2. The abstract must include the title, author’s name, institutional affiliation, and country. The author must also indicate the thematic session that best fits their submission. Additionally, the abstract should clearly present the theme and subjectresearch problemobjective(s), and achieved results. The abstract must be between 6,000 and 10,000 characters (including spaces), approximately 3 to 5 pages, using Times New Roman 12 pt font, 1.5 line spacing. By submitting an abstract, the participant grants the organizers the right to publish it in the Seminar’s Book of Abstracts and distribute it electronically.
  3. The presentation of the paper at the event is subject to approval by the Scientific Committee and the payment of the registration fee in advance.

IMPORTANT DATES

📅 April 30, 2025 – Deadline for uploading the Extended Abstract on the event website.

📅 By May 15, 2025 – Announcement of abstract evaluation results (Accepted/ Not Accepted) by the Scientific Committee.

* TO INCLUDE THE PAPER IN THE II ECOPOLTUR PROGRAM, AT LEAST ONE OF THE AUTHORS MUST HAVE PAID THE REGISTRATION FEE BY MAY 31, 2025.
